Saying "Goodbye" to my youth :(

I've come to realize at the age of (gulp) 43 that I can no longer do the things I used to as a kid.  My nephew begged me to ride his new scooter that was given to him as a Christmas present from Santa and did I turn that blue eyed special nephew of mine down?.........Nope, and boy did I ever pay for it!  Not only do I have a broken pinky finger, bruised butt and a bruised shoulder....but my ego is severly damaged as well.....my childhood dare devil days are absolutely over!!!!!  LOL
    Don't laugh too hard!!!!!!
(by the way....thanks to my husband for laughing during and after capturing this "priceless moment")

    The day after.........

It looks painful but I swear I enjoyed your recitation/telling of it. :-) Bless your heart. I too have had a few times..I avoid too many, where I see i am not the young girl I was. Not even a little bit.

LOL yes we can't do the same things (or shouldn't) as kids, but that is no loss of youth!
Just gotta move on and redefine what is fun and not, safe and well you know :)>
    Good capture by your Hubby!
Take care of that hand and whatever other parts and pieces are bruised.
It is clear you are doing fine emotionally-egotistically, hey that's the main thing (besides nothing broken).
